Looking After Our Clients’ Best Interests
At Godfrey Law & Associates, PLLC, we want to help people transition into the next phase of their life. Practicing law for 11 years, we are very kind and gracious but aggressive when needed. We approach things from the perspective of trying to settle cases in a way that benefits everyone’s best interests.
We educate ourselves on your case to provide you with the best resolution to meet your specific needs. We’re experienced, ethical, and have a great reputation with judges.
Godfrey Law & Associates, PLLC’s mission is to serve God by serving our fellow man. Each person in our office believes God created them as unique individuals with a purpose and plan for their life. This is not a condition of employment, but rather a common perspective on life and work. In family law cases, where arguably emotions are running at their highest, people’s actions and attitudes often run at their lowest.
When asked how Mrs. Godfrey reconciles her faith with the practice of divorce, cohabitation, abandonment, etc., she remarks that her clients are not always the petitioners; sometimes, they are being “filed upon” and need help walking through tough times. Even the petitioners are not “bad people,” though. Many times their spouses have cheated on them or abused them or their children in some way. Or, the parties simply no longer get along and do not wish to be married to, or living with each other anymore.
Either way, Mrs. Godfrey recognizes that people intent on seeking legal action will obtain that representation somewhere, and, if she is representing them, she can do so with an open heart and open mind, while praying sincerely over her cases and the people involved in them. She considers it a privilege to offer godly counsel by helping people in the most important areas of their lives.
She understands that she cannot, and will not, please all of the people all of the time, but that is a goal she constantly works toward. She does not impose her beliefs on those she serves; yet, she prays her work will be performed in such a manner as to be pleasing to both her clients she serves and to the Savior she serves.
